HeatsinkFactory does not sell or give out our customer's information
to anyone, period.
:: Payment
HeatsinkFactory accepts Master Card, Visa, Discover Card and American
Express credit cards only for online purchases. Please note that
the billing address you give to us MUST BE listed as authorized
and on file with the bank that issued your credit card or we will
not ship. This is for your protection and ours.
:: Warranty
All items purchased from HeatsinkFactory come with a 30-day warranty
against manufacturer defects only. The 30-day period starts when
you receive delivery of the item (as specified by Delivery Confirmation).
The warranty applies to the original purchaser only. After the
30-day warranty is over, the manufacturer should be contacted
directly for repair or replacement. Our warranty does not apply
to any items that have been modified or abused. Please note that
items are not warrantied as to compatibility with your current
components in regards to use, fit, or utility. HeatsinkFactory
reserves the right to repair or replace defective items under
warranty as we see appropriate.
:: Pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice. The price you
pay is set at the time you order. We cannot offer price protection
in any way. All prices are listed in terms of US currency.
:: Product Returns
No exchanges, refunds, or returns will be accepted past our
30-day warranty.
To initiate a return or replacement for a defective product you
must request an RMA number. After you email us your order number
and the reason for return we will then give you an RMA number
that is good for 10 business days. Any return without an RMA number
or that has an expired RMA number will be refused and returned
at the customer's expense. We do this only because there have
been so many instances of people taking up to a month or more
to send us the returned item. We are not responsible for lost
RMA packages sent back to us, so please insure your package.
:: Exceptions to Our 30 Day Return Policy:
Water cooling related products will not be accepted back once sold. If the item is defective it will be exchanged during the warranty period for the exact same item. Items that require modification before they can be used will not be accepted back once sold. Sound Dampening material that has to be cut before it can be installed would be an example. Items described on the website as not being eligible for return or refund.
:: Defective Items:
If you have received a defective product from HeatsinkFactory.com,
you may return it to obtain a credit, exchange, or refund excluding
shipping. DOA or defective products must be reported to us within
48 hours (based on Delivery Confirmation) of receiving the products.
:: Non-Defective Items:
HeatsinkFactory.com reserves the right
to assess a 15% Restock fee on returned non-defective items. Note that shipping, handling, or any labor charges are not refundable.
Refund amounts will be based on your orders invoice at the time
of purchase.
Any non-defective products returned to HeatsinkFactory incomplete
or altered from its original condition (missing screws, grease,
etc), not in a resalable condition (dirty, grease left on heatsink,
missing boxes or paperwork), will be refused and returned at the
customer's expense. Items returned in their original boxes will
also be returned at the customer's expense. For example, please
don't send us a ThermalRight Ultima-90 heatsink back to us in the Ultima-90's retail
box.
:: Limitation of Liability
All products sold on this website are to be used at your own risk.
Under no circumstances is HeatsinkFactory liable for the following:
(1) Third Party claims against you for damages; (2) personal injury,
loss of or damage to your records, data, or equipment; (3) economic
consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or lost
savings), or incidental damages even if we are informed of their
possibility.
:: Shipping
HeatsinkFactory ships using Fed-Ex and United States Postal Service (USPS) to provide the most flexibility to our customers. Please note that Fed-Ex can not deliver to P.O. BOXES, APO, or FPO addresses. For those address types, please select the USPS option.
HeatsinkFactory normally ships out orders less than 24 hours after an order has been placed (excluding weekends or holidays). It is very rare but sometimes due to unusually high order volume the order my take slightly longer than 24 hours to be processed. If your order is delayed more than 24 hours we will notify you by email immediately.
Once your order ships you will automatically be sent a Fed-Ex tracking number or USPS Delivery Confirmation number by email.

:: Explanation of Fed-Ex Options:
Fed-Ex Ground 1-5 Days:
Using this option the customer can usually expect their package between one and five days after the package is shipped. There is no guaranteed delivery time with FedEx Ground. Please note that Saturdays and Sundays are not business days. Not available to residents of Alaska or Hawaii.
FedEx 3 Day Air:
Using this option the customer can expect their package no later than the third business day after the order is shipped. Note that Saturdays and Sundays are not business days. Not available to residents of Alaska or Hawaii.
FedEx 2 Day Air:
Using this option the customer can expect their package no later than the second business day after the order is shipped. Note that Saturdays and Sundays are not business days.
FedEx 1 Day Air:
Using this option the customer can expect their package no later than the next business day after their order is shipped. Note that Saturdays and Sundays are not business days.
:: Explanation of USPS Shipments:
USPS Priority Mail:
Using this option the customer can usually expect their package between one to three days on average after the package is shipped. There is no guaranteed delivery time with USPS Priority Mail. Unlike Fedex, USPS will deliver on Saturday. Delivery Confirmation is included allowing you to verify date and time of delivery online.
USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate:
This option is usually much less expensive for non-California residents when the order is over 2 lbs in weight. Using this option the customer can usually expect their package between one to three days on average after the package is shipped. There is no guaranteed delivery time with USPS Priority Mail. Unlike Fedex, USPS will deliver on Saturday. Delivery Confirmation is included allowing you to verify date and time of delivery online.
HeatsinkFactory is not responsible for USPS packages with delivery confirmation numbers that declare the package as delivered but the customer cannot "find" the package. As for orders using FedEx shipping methods, FedEx will do their best to search for the "missing" package by filing a trace. If FedEx deems the package missing, an insurance claim can be filed and a replacement order can be shipped out. Unfortunately, USPS does not provide this service and as a result, HeatsinkFactory cannot blindly send out a replacement order if a customer claims their USPS package as "missing" when the delivery confirmation number says the package was delivered at the appropriate location.
