The Thermal-Star LCD Media Panel 7-in-1 Card Reader / Fan Controller / Temp. Display fits in any standard 5.25" drive bay and allows monitoring and control of up to 4 fans. It also reports temperatures from 4 temperature probes and will activate an alarm if one of the probes reports a temperature above the set threshold. All of the reporting is done via a back-light Blue LCD display that can report the temperatures in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. If that weren't enough, the panel also has a 7-in-1 card reader with both CF and MS card slots. An eSATA port is also integrated, leaving no space on the panel unused.

Automatic or Manual Fan Control
While the panel has 4 knobs for controlling each fan channel directly at the press of a button it can switch over to "Auto" mode and control the fans based off of the temperatures reported by its temperature probes.

Four Channels for Fans
The panel has four separate power channels for controlling four fans independently.

Four Temperature Channels
With four included temperature probes, the LCD display can show the current temperature readings from each probe.

Back-Light LCD Display
To aid reading of the LCD display in the dark, it is back-light with a cool blue glow. The display reports the current fan control status (manual or auto), the RPM of any one of the fans it is controlling, the temperature reported by any one of the temperature probes and the current setting for the temperature alarm. The temperatures can be displayed in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Temperature Alarm
The adjustable temperature alarm will beep when one of the temperature probes reports a temperature that is higher than the alarm's chosen temperature setting.
